Ron Crawford is senior vice president, Global Total Rewards and Partner Resources Service Delivery. In this role, Ron leads the strategy, growth and direction of Starbucks Benefits, Compensation and Service Delivery teams, ensuring that Starbucks is providing best-in-class programs and solutions that will enhance the experience, health, and well-being of all Starbucks partners (employees).
Ron first joined the Starbucks partner resources organization in 2011 as vice president, Global Benefits. In this role, Ron has helped lead the transformation of the company’s comprehensive benefits, strengthening Starbucks reputation as the industry leader and cultivating a reputation as one of the most creative people in the industry. Ron pioneered some of the company’s most popular and innovative benefits such as the Starbucks College Achievement Plan, Lyra mental health benefit, and Headspace and Spotify partnerships. He also led the groundbreaking expansion of benefits for transgender partners.
Joe Grasso, PhD, is the Vice President of Workforce Transformation and Customer Marketing at Lyra Health and a clinical psychologist by training. At Lyra, he leads the design of educational programs, consultation services, and communication strategies that support workforce well-being and performance. His insights on organizational strategies, team effectiveness, and employee mental health have been featured in CNN, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, and Fast Company. Before joining Lyra, he led national training initiatives and health services research at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. His peer-reviewed work spans integrated care, psychotherapy outcomes, and the mental health impacts of social identity.
Dr. Alethea Varra is a licensed clinical psychologist and Senior Vice President of Clinical Care for Lyra Health. She serves as the senior clinical leader for therapy programs and is responsible for driving overall clinical strategy and oversight of clinical quality, training, and service delivery. Her clinical specialty area is trauma and post traumatic stress disorder. She has over 20 years of experience in mental health and clinical operations. Her focus is on healthcare innovation and program development and she is passionate about improving access to evidenced based mental health care, especially to underserved populations.
Evelyn Farías is a DEI&B Program Manager at Lyra Health. She is the creator and leader of Lyra’s Community Leads Program, a social and educational community where leaders of employee resource groups and peer champions programs can learn best practices for mental health promotion. Prior to this role, she worked as a full-time therapist, specializing in working with BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ populations in private practice and non-profit settings. Evelyn holds Master’s degrees in Psychological Counseling and Bilingual-Spanish Latinx Mental Health from Columbia University and is a former fellow of the American Psychological Association’s Minority Fellowship Program.
