Shilpa R. Taufique, PhD, is the Director of the Division of Psychology, Co-Chair of the Psychiatry DEI Steering Committee for the Mount Sinai Health System, and Chief Psychologist for Mount Sinai Morningside and West Hospitals. In addition, Dr. Taufique is the Director of the Comprehensive Adolescent Rehabilitation and Education Service (CARES) at Mount Sinai Morningside. She also works with Mount Sinai Health Partners to design and develop behavioral health services as part of integrated health care packages for various organizations.
Dr. Taufique earned her doctorate in Clinical/Child/School Psychology from New York University. She has received numerous awards for her supervision and teaching, including the Faculty Award for Humanism in Psychiatry, and the President’s Award for Excellence from St. Luke’s and Roosevelt Hospitals. In addition to her work of over 20 years at Mount Sinai, she serves as consultant to other organizations, facilitating team building, culture change and providing leadership development. Her clinical specialties include program design and development, group and systems dynamics, diversity, equity, and inclusion, mental health and school consultation, co-occurring disorders (mental health and substance use disorders), and trauma. Dr. Taufique has also served as the Board Chair for Creative Alternatives of NY, and currently serves on The Art Therapy Project (TATP) and the AMAE Health Care. Dr. Taufique is dedicated to mentoring clinicians in their professional identity development and career pursuits, and actively looks for ways to collaborate across disciplines and enhance the reputation of clinical and training programs to a national level of excellence.
Sarah Hagerty, PhD, is a Program Specialist for Workforce Mental Health at Lyra Health. She holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology and Neuroscience. Prior to her role at Lyra, she served as an independent mental health strategy consultant for companies of various sizes across a variety of industries. She has a passion for using her expertise at the intersection of research, clinical practice, and neuroscience to deliver data-driven insights that help individuals and organizations thrive.
Dr. David Sitt is the Clinical Director at Agave Health, where he leads the foremost nationwide behavioral health platform for adults with ADHD. He is also the co-founder of Elevate Psychology, a Lyra Health provider since 2019, specializing in treating adults with ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders, prenatal/perinatal depression, and women’s health issues. David draws on a wealth of expertise in his clinical practice, relying on evidence-based therapies and validated treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based therapies, and Executive Functioning coaching.
David is the best-selling author of "ADHD Refocused: Bringing Clarity to the Chaos" and a sought-after speaker, consultant, and executive coach for thought leaders, corporations, and educational institutions. Additionally, he is a tenured professor at Baruch College (CUNY). His dynamic teaching style incorporates emergent technologies and experiential activities to enhance student learning and engagement.
David lives in Brooklyn, NY, with his wife (and Elevate Psychology co-founder), Dr. Ayla Sitt, and their four children.
Sean helped start Lyra Health in 2015 and became Chief Revenue Officer in 2022. He leads Lyra’s partnerships with employers, health plans, and other strategic partners. This includes Lyra’s sales, customer success, marketing, occupational mental health, and go-to-market operation teams. Prior to Lyra, Sean worked at Castlight Health, The White House's National Economic Council, The Brookings Institution's Health Care Reform Center, and Khulisa Management Services. Sean earned a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School, and a Master in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School.
Joe Grasso, PhD, is the Vice President of Workforce Transformation at Lyra Health and a clinical psychologist by training. At Lyra, he oversees Lyra's product suite for supporting workplace mental health and he leads a team of experts who consult with employers on their management practices, corporate policies, and learning and development programs. Dr. Grasso has been interviewed by national media outlets including CNN, Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, Fast Company, and Washington Post for his perspective on workforce mental health topics. Prior to joining Lyra, Dr. Grasso managed the implementation of a national training program for the US Department of Veterans Affairs, where he also led quality improvement initiatives and conducted health services research. His peer-reviewed research spans topics including integrated health care, psychotherapy outcomes, and the intersection of social identities and mental health.
Carole Mendoza is an HR leader whose career spans over 20 years in strategic benefits program planning, design, and delivery for multinational Fortune 500 companies, including IBM and Amgen. She currently leads Voya Financial’s benefits function, where she crafts the enterprise benefits strategy, expands employee retirement readiness initiatives, collaborates with business leaders, and champions DE&I and health equity across the organization. She also serves on the company’s Enterprise Leadership Team.
Carole holds an MPH from The George Washington University—Milken Institute School of Public Health and an MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management. Carole serves as Vice Chair on the Board of the Midwest Business Group on Health and on the Board of the Policy Center for Maternal Mental Health.
Lauren is the Senior Vice President of Mount Sinai Solutions, a division of the Mount Sinai Health System dedicated to collaborating with employers, unions, and health companies that serve the commercially-insured population. With over 20 years of experience, Lauren has held various leadership roles in building and scaling healthcare companies. Her career includes notable positions at the Advisory Board, McKesson, and Oxeon, as well as roles in the venture-backed sector with Empiric Health and Truepill. Additionally, she serves as a Board Observer at Oula Health and is the mother of two toddler boys.
Lauren earned her BA in History from Duke University and her MBA in Health Care Management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Kerry is a highly accomplished HR business executive with experience in strategic planning, talent acquisition, performance management and organizational transformation. As a seasoned executive, Kerry has a unique combination of experiences in industries that include technology, sports, media, entertainment, telecommunications, and retail. She is a highly influential and effective leader with a record of achievements at some of the most admired organizations in the world. She is a trusted advisor who builds strong relationships with teams, CEOS and other C-suite leaders and board members.
Kerry was most recently, Chief People Officer at Bombas. She was recruited to this role as part of the company’s efforts to strategically prepare for its next stage of growth. At this highly reputable, early stage, mission-oriented company, Kerry was responsible for developing all aspects of the Human Resources function, including organizational design and learning, succession planning, total rewards, talent acquisition and employee relations.
Prior to Bombas, Kerry was the Chief Human Resources Officer of Endeavor, where she was part of the executive leadership team that took the company pubic. She previously worked as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Under Armour where she restructured and built out the HR organization to meet the 15,000-employee company’s emerging competitive challenges. She was also previously the Global Head of Human Resources at Christie’s International, and Executive Vice President for the National Basketball Association (NBA), reporting directly to the NBA Commissioner. She led the multi-billion-dollar sports enterprise through organizational transformation to become a more global business entity with strong culture and operating infrastructure including new NBA markets in China, India, Europe and Africa.
Kerry also served as senior vice president of human resources at ESPN (a part of The Walt Disney Company) and at Hong Kong Disneyland, as well as various human resources roles of increasing responsibility at IBM, Motorola, Exxon, and McDonnell Douglas. Kerry is on the board of directors of Lyra Health as well as Redfin. She has a bachelor’s degree from Lincoln University, a master’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis, and a master’s degree from McGill University.
